[Extra Post] HTMLで振り仮名ふりがな

An extra post with a quick explanation of how to create furigana (pronunciation captions for kanji/katakana) with HTML!
こんにちは、みんなさん!今日のポストのトピックはふりがなです。ふりがなをりますか? ↪こち見て!こちみて!↩ いいですね?

HTMLはちょっとむずかしいだからこれから英語えいごです。さ、はじめましょう!

To begin with, write your post as you normally would, using kanji wherever you see fit. When you are done, switch from 'Compose' mode to 'HTML' mode in the post editor. From here, you can add the furigana with a special tag called 'ruby'! You wrap the kanji in a <ruby> tag, and then add the annotation in <rt> tags afterwords (still in the ruby). With this method, you can put one caption on multiple characters, so its really convenient! Remember to start a new ruby for each caption you want to add. It's kind of complicated so here's an example of how it works:

HTML View:
これは<ruby><rt>わたし</rt></ruby>のです。

Real View:
これはわたしのです。

See the effect? The use of small hiragana next to kanji or katakana is called furigana. (But you can use this in English as well!) It can be a little tedious to add a whole tag for every kanji you use, but it makes it a lot easier to read. You can also use the ruby tag in post titles with the same method. I hope this little tutorial was helpful, let me know in the comments if you need more explanation! ^^

じゃ、また明日あした!これからもよんでください!
